This is THE Masterclass. We will take you through the understanding of Artemesia, Genepy & the Alpine Regions of Genepy that make the gorgeous range of profile of Genepy that embraces hundreds of years of medicinal and monastic history from the infamous Chartreuse to the range of Monastic Alpine Liquors that have made Genepy such a sought after Amaro. There will be some surprises and an in depth education. Amaro Genepy Tasting will range from Spain to Italy to the Netherlands to France. Chocolate & salty pairings will of course be added to enhance your experience.

Bowling & Burch Gin Launch Event Meet the Distiller Stephan Beam
We are excited to introduce the NEW Bowling & Burch Gin from Kentucky with Very Special Guest Distiller Stephan Beam joining us to teach the botanicals, techique and concept behind this inspired Kentucky Gin.
Born from distiller Stephen Beam’s green thumb and a passion for experimentation he inherited from his ancestors, Bowling & Burch is a high-quality, small-batch gin blended with 19 botanicals. Eight of those are grown and tended to right here at Limestone Branch Distillery: bitter orange, black cherry, honeysuckle, rosemary, lemongrass, lemon verbena, blackberry, and coriander.
The resulting botanical blend — conserved in an apothecary-style bottle screen-printed with a sophisticated floral motif — is a garden party in a glass just begging for a lemon twist.

Carciofo, Italian for Artichoke, category of amaro (Italian word for bitter) is a much loved category of amaro yet doesn't always get the attention it deserves. This year we are celebrating the love by showcasing three of our favorite Carciofo Amaro, Preiss Imports Fratelli Vergnano Cioco, Campari's Cynar & Don Cicco Carciofo Amaro in a freindly competition Monday, August 12th during Amaro Week.

Chartreuse 16.05 Day - Thursday, May 16th
Join The Gin Room as we celebrate all things Chartreuse on 16.05 (May 16th). We will be featuring Chartreuse Cocktails and Neat Pours along with some fun take-home items.
The event will start at 3 PM and run until 8 PM. There will be a group Toast at 6:30 for all of those still in attendance. Seating is limited so grab up your tickets as soon as you can.
Please choose your ticket based on the time of arrival as, again, seating is limited in The Gin Room.
Thanks to their reputation as apothecaries, in 1605 at the Vauvert monastery in Paris, the Maréchal d’Estrées entrusted the Carthusian Monks with a manuscript containing a mysterious recipe composed of 130 plants, flowers, roots, berries and bark which could be used to produce an elixir for “long life”.
The date of 1605 is probably the most symbolic in the history of Chartreuse liqueurs, as this is the date when it all started. It still appears on all bottles of Chartreuse and is a key element of the identity of the Carthusian fathers’ liqueurs.
Using the year 1605 as a starting point, the date of 16.05, May 16th, was chosen. The project being being to create an annual event on 16th May to celebrate Chartreuse with people touched by its history, its mystery, its roots and its authenticity. The “16.05” event was born, a highlight providing an opportunity each year to support the professional community and raise awareness through various activities via its importers, distributors and their teams with the aim of better serving the liqueur.
16.05 has become a not-to-be-missed celebration in over twenty countries. Here’s to 16.05 ! Here’s to Chartreuse!

Given his appreciation of sense of place, it was a given that Ken would contribute to the locations and industry near and dear to his heart. Instrumental in organizing the six new American Viticultural Area (AVA)’s in the Northern Willamette Valley that define in detail the distinct growing areas within the region, he wrote the proposition for the Yamhill-Carlton AVA and served as the association’s first President.
